The Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS) project was presented in the regions of Guria and Imereti.

The Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS) is a mechanism that provides access to knowledge and innovation to the community interested in agriculture.

The objective of the meetings was to submit the recommendation document for the micro (regional) AKIS project and discuss it with the stakeholders.

Representatives of the educational, private, and non-governmental sectors, local farmers, representatives of rural development agencies, and municipalities attended the meeting.

The meeting was organized by the EIEC within the "Modernization of the Vocational Education System in Georgian Agriculture VET (Phase 3),"  which is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
