An open lecture as part of the "Debates for Better Education" project took place at the EIEC

Students from debating clubs and schools provided a presentation in advance of the debate contest, during which they discussed a range of environmental issues, such as waste management, biodiversity, climate change, and water resources.

The objective of the national debate tournament is to promote the environmental topic and raise awareness among young people by using debate techniques. The tournament is held within the "Debates for Better Education" project.

The project "Debates for Better Education" is implemented with the support of the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation in cooperation with the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and Ilia State University. The national debate tournament is supported by Tegeta Green Planet and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
