Environmental Information and Education Centre retrained about 300 educators and methodists of preschool institutions of the Shida Kartli region with the updated program - "Preschool Environmental Education"

The goal of the program is to raise the awareness of kindergarten educators/methodologists and children of early age in the direction of environmental education.

According to the updated educational book, issues of climate change and related challenges have been added to the topics of biodiversity, water resources and waste management. The educational book also includes practical examples.

Tamar Aladashvili, Director of Environmental Information and Education Centre met the representatives of preschool educational institutions and talked about the importance of environmental education.

After the training of the representatives of the preschool educational institutions of the Shida Kartli region, the trainings will be conducted for the representatives of the preschool educational institutions of the Kakheti region.
