"Rural and Agriculture Development Extension" trainings were held for extensionists

After the EIEC extensionists in Adjara were organized, they received training on the subject of "Extension of rural and agricultural development." The activity aims to improve the credentials of experts working for the Adjara Ministry of Agriculture, which supports the delivery of efficient agricultural services.

The general essence of extension, comparative analysis of local and international approaches, development of extension programs based on research on rural and agricultural needs, communication, and conflict management in agricultural extension were discussed within the training.

The meeting was held within the project "Modernization of the Vocational Education System in Georgian Agriculture VET (stage 3)." The project is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
