The learning cours of ecolieader school has anded

The E-course for Eco Leader School, the program implemented by EIEC in 2024, has finished. Solomon Pavliashvili, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, and the Director of the EIEC, Tamar Aladashvili, met students and handed over the certificates.

Eco Leader School aims to teach young people about environmental issues and raise awareness in the field of environment. Invited specialists and representatives of EIEC held the lectures.

The course provided students with information on sustainable development goals, human rights, waste management, protected areas, biodiversity, climate change, forest sustainable management, and environmental education.

After theory, the students within the practical part of the course went to Algeti National Park, the Botanical National Garden of Georgia, and Polivim’’ LTD, the students got familiar with the waste management process in the place.

The financial support was provided by Tegeta Green Planet" company for the Eco Leader School'' field meeting.
The project was implemented throughout the country. the students from ninth to twelfth grade participated in it. The participants were selected based on the contest.
