The professional training program "Forest Inventory and Taxation" has been completed

The program of vocational retraining ‘Forest Inventory and Taxation’’ has been completed by 15 students successfully. The Director of EIEC, Tamar Aladashvili, handed over the certificates to students. The learning course covered both theoretical and practical parts. The practical part of the program was conducted in the forests under the national forest agency in Bakuriani and Mtskheta Municipality. 
On-site, the participants got acquainted with the safety of fieldwork and the rules for using the timber measuring inventory, taking sample areas, forest inventory/timber measurement and height determination, forest taxation, filling in the taxation card, determining the average taxation indicators using forestry materials, management level inventory and national the rules of implementation of forest inventory.
The "Forest Inventory and Taxation" program was implemented by the EIEC in cooperation with the National Forestry Agency and with the support of the Professional Skills Agency, the European Union, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
