THE "ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER" TRAINING PROGRAM BEGINS

The deadline to register for the "Environmental Manager" Professional Training Program is February 16.

Participants include the following:

Individuals who are interested in learning more about the duties of an environmental manager as stated in the Waste Management Code and gaining the required abilities;

Individuals;

Employees at companies generating various types of waste are responsible for developing and implementing waste management plans.
The goal of the programme is to train environmental managers who will implement the Waste Management Code and its obligations, inspection procedures, and law enforcement.

Participants who successfully finish the Environmental Manager course will be capable of

Prepare and update the company's waste management plan.
Classify waste
Work in the electronic waste management system
Implement and organise the company's waste management plan.
Implement company self-monitoring and internal control.

The tuition fee is 700 GEL.

The training process will begin on March 10. The duration of the programme is 4 weeks.

Address: LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre, Tbilisi, Marshal Gelovani Avenue N32g.

Graduates of the program will be awarded a state-recognized certificate upon satisfactory completion

Alverd Chankseliani - Head of the Waste and Chemicals Management Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia;
Ekaterine Kiskeidze - Head of the Industrial Emissions and Waste Control Service of the Environmental Supervision Department;
Konstantine Khachapuridze - Independent Expert;
Kristine Vardanashvili - Head of the Waste Management Division of the Waste and Chemicals Management Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia;
