NATIONAL REPORT ON THE AARHUS CONVENTION'S IMPLEMENTATION

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe has issued its Seventh National Report on the Implementation of the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making, and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention) for the years 2021–2024. On January 28 of this year, the VII National Report on the Implementation of the Aarhus Convention was submitted to the Aarhus Convention Secretariat.

As a party to the Aarhus Convention, Georgia is required to draft and provide a national report on the Convention's implementation at each meeting of the Convention's parties. The legislative, regulatory, and other actions taken by the parties to carry out the convention's provisions are detailed in national reports.
