Public discussion of the project "Chachuna Reserve Management Plan"

A public hearing on the draft Chachuna Reserve Management Plan will be held at the Agency of Protected Areas (Address: G. Gulua # 6) on June 20, 2022, at 12:00.

The management plan was developed with the support of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative as part of the ongoing Ivris  Chala Forests and Surroundings Restoration Project, implemented by the Society for Conservation of Nature - ‘’Sabuko,’’ in collaboration with Birdlife International and the Agency for Protected Areas." The plan was prepared by a team of national consultants from the NNLE "Georgian Network of Friends of Protected Areas" with the involvement of the Chachuna Reserve Administration, non-governmental organisations, and other stakeholders.

The management plan was created in accordance with Georgia's Protected Areas Law and the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection's Statute # 110 of March 12, 2014, titled "On the stages and procedures for preparing the methodology, content, and thematic parts of the protected area management plan."
