The energy policy of the state of Georgia and its annex, the national integrated plan of energy and climate

The scoping statement for the strategic environmental assessment as well as the state of Georgia's energy policy and its annex, the national integrated plan for energy and climate, are published by the National Environmental Agency of the State of Georgia.
As you are aware, the scoping statement and the national integrated energy and climate plan were presented by the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development on December 14, 2022, in order to receive the scoping conclusion of the strategic environmental assessment.
We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia presented the updated documentation and requested the termination of the administrative proceedings based on the updated documentation in order to obtain a scoping conclusion, as well as the termination of the administrative proceedings due to changes in the documents, by letter No. 15/10023 dated December 21, 2022.
Accordingly, we would like to inform you that the administrative proceedings for the purpose of obtaining the scoping conclusion of the strategic environmental assessment have been started on the basis of the documentation specified in the said statement.
The comments and opinions related to the scoping statement and the strategic document should be submitted in writing, to the National Environmental Agency at the address: St. Tbilisi, Marshal Gelovani Avenue No. 6 or by e-mail To the mail address: eia@mepa.gov.ge.
