Webinars in environmental and agrarian directions
The Environmental Information and Education Center actively promotes non-formal education in order to promote environmental and agrarian education and raise awareness within the framework of which it conducts lectures-seminars for schoolchildren in Tbilisi and the regions on various topical issues throughout the year.
Due to the state of emergency caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, the center, like other educational institutions, has switched to distance learning mode and offers webinars to any student interested in biodiversity, climate change, Georgian wine history, spring work in vineyards, waste management, natural disaster reduction, sustainable development, water resources and energy, environmental rights and obligations, ambient air quality, or other environmental and agrarian issues of their choice.
During distance learning, any interested person, including a student, teacher, or parent, can fill in the registration form - https://bit.ly/34zDlG7, choose a topic of interest to them, and plan a webinar for any age group of students together with representatives of the Environmental Information and Education Centre.
Mariam Beridze is the contact person for the webinars (mob: 593 420 003; e-mail: mariam.beridze@eiec.gov.ge)
