The contest for a unified database of trainers.

The EIEC for Environmental Information and Education of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture is announcing a competition for the position of trainer (s) in various fields in the fields of environment and agriculture in order to create a unified database of trainers.

Agriculture:

Walnut crops;
Berry crops;
Beekeeping;
Livestock - cattle and small cattle;
Sheep breeding;
Pig;
Citrus fruits;
Viticulture-winemaking;

Horticultural crops;

Function-duties of the trainer:

Conducting training on relevant issues in the field for a pre-defined audience;
Preparation of training modules, presentations, and training materials in accordance with the pre-defined field;
Managing and organizing training issues;
Update and adapt training materials in line with feedback from training participants;
Production of activity-related reports in accordance with established rules and/or agreement;
 Perform other functions in accordance with the job description within its competence.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education (preferably, the candidate should have an education related to the field/field);
It is desirable for the candidate to have undergone training of trainers (training of trainers);
The candidate must have at least five years of experience working in the relevant field or fields of agriculture and the environment;
The candidate must have at least three years of experience in conducting training, seminars, or presentations (practical work experience will be considered an advantage);
A candidate must have experience in developing methodologies, have practice-based teaching methods (be able to plan / implement practical training within trainings)
The candidate should be able to develop training modules and correctly identify learning outcomes;
It is preferable to have intermediate English skills (B1 or B2).
A candidate must have an above-average level of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

The best candidate must also meet the following requirements:

Modern teaching and training principles, methods, and approaches;
Be familiar with environmental goals and objectives;

Be familiar with climate-friendly agricultural approaches;
Be aware of sustainable development goals.

Competencies:


Competence in conducting training;
Selecting the right training audience;
Correctly and effectively identify training issues;
Competence in managing group dynamics;
Competence to adapt learning materials.
The candidate must also be familiar with the following documents:
Order N2-742 of the Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia of September 6, 2018 on the Approval of the Statute of the Legal Entity of Public Law - Environmental Information and Education Center;
Georgia's Environmental Protection Act;
Convention on’’ Access to Environmental Information, Public Participation in Decision-Making and Access to Justice in the Field’’ 
Agriculture and Rural Development Strategy (2021-2027);
Third National Environmental Action Program of Georgia (2017-2021)

Remuneration for the position is determined by agreement, depending on the specifics of the job. Upon successful completion of this competition, the candidates will become members of the LEPL Eiec for Environmental Information and Education Eiec   trainers, who will be employed in accordance with the training and training courses planned by the Eiec.
