Legislative change for persons servicing refrigerant equipment

If you are servicing refrigerant-based equipment
• Physical body
• Individual entrepreneur or legal entity

If you implement:
• Purchase, disposal, collection, recycling, recovery, or disposal of substances stipulated by the Montreal Protocol

If you serve:
• Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment or heat pumps

From January 1, 2024

For a physical body
• the validity period of the certificate is 5 years.
• Certificate exam fee: 100 GEL

For a business owner or other legal body
• If one or more hired, certified natural persons carry out this activity on behalf of an individual entrepreneur or legal company, then the certificate is issued.
• The certificate has a three-year validity period.
• 300 GEL is the certification fee.

It is required of an individual entrepreneur to obtain an entrepreneur's certificate!
